Our tool uses your assumed daily use multiplied by your chosen lead time, plus your chosen buffer, less counted remaining stock. It rounds a positive gap up to a whole piece.

Round to the actual purchase unit

Divide that rounded gap by the selected pack count and round up to a whole pack. Extra pieces are shown explicitly. This is hypothetical arithmetic, not an automatic purchase or a recommended buffer.

Check size before quantity

An exact count in an unsuitable size is still unsuitable stock. Verify the product label and practical purchase need before acting on a forecast.
